In the beach volleyball world and beyond, I’ve seen firsthand how casually people treat sun protection and self-care—often with lifelong regrets from those who waited too long. That’s why we need to act now. Not tomorrow. Not next year.
IKI.UV was born from this urgent need to put sustainable wellness first. It’s about protecting yourself every day so you can live fully, perform at your best, and avoid the regrets that come from neglect. Because when it comes to your health, there’s no time to waste.
Our MATERIALS
Most sun-protection gear is made from cheap, synthetic fabrics treated with chemical UV-absorbers that wash out and irritate sweaty skin.
Our shrugs use a premium, non-toxic blend of natural performance fibers and high-recovery stretch. By utilizing dense, advanced knitting technology, we deliver a second-skin fit that completely changes the game:
- UPF Protection: Our fabric blocks harmful UVA/UVB rays naturally through its weave density. No chemical coatings. It never washes out.
- The Anti-Sandpaper Surface: Engineered to manage moisture flawlessly, the fabric exterior stays dry to the touch so abrasive beach sand simply brushes right off instead of sticking and scratching your skin.
- Zero-Slip Compression: High-power stretch locks the wrap securely to your arms and shoulders. It holds a firm, aerodynamic fit that prevents sand from sliding underneath during heavy dives.
- Naturally Fresh: Inherent antimicrobial properties repelling odor-causing bacteria.
